Turning circularity into a reality.

Air Tech Italy member, Aerospace, defense and security company LEONARDO, recently presented its paper on how composite materials can play a key role in supporting sustainability and the circular economy.

According to the paper a product’s design determines up to 80% of the environmental impact of a product over its lifecycle.

The paper shares some interesting lessons on how companies in the aviation world can benefit from composite materials to save costs in production and how end users benefit from the extended lifetime of products.
