Reco’s facial recognition system allows for airport operators to offer fast security checks and boarding, as it avoids the need for passengers to show travel documents or boarding passes.

At Bergama Orio Al Serio Airport passengers leaving for London will now be able to use the new service.

After their web or airport check-in, passengers can go to the departures area and use the Reco’s Welcome Kiosk to associate their face with the electronic identity document and the boarding pass.

This will allow them to pass the subsequent checks at the airport, seamlessly, through the fast track gate and board at the boarding gate, without having to use any identity document or travel document.

Last year Reco326 implemented a similar system for ITA Airways at Catania international Airport. Check out this reference case here.
