During a recent press conference at the Catania International Airport – to look back at the successful summer season of the airport -, the ITA Airways new Face Recognition Service – conceived and developed by Reco 3.26 – was introduced at the airport.
The Face Boarding service allows passengers to quickly pass through security checks and gate procedures, without having to show documents or boarding passes, a step towards a better passenger experience.
The service is offered exclusively to ITA Airways passengers departing from Catania with destination Milan Linate.
