SITTI, a member of Air Tech Italy, has been awarded a major nationwide contract in Colombia for the supply of Voice Communication Systems (VCS).
These systems will be deployed across all major airports in the country. The contract was signed between AERONAUTICA CIVIL, Colombia’s Air Navigation Service Provider (ANSP), and a joint venture between SITTI and RADIOCOM, a Colombian company, to provide state-of-the-art communication solutions nationwide.

SITTI’s VCS systems will be installed at numerous international and regional airports, enhancing air traffic communication and safety. The selected locations include:

Cutting-Edge Technology for Seamless Air Traffic Communication
The supplied systems belong to SITTI’s MULTIFONO® M800IP® family, complementing the six existing SITTI systems already operating in Colombia. The contract also includes:
- Legal Recorders (VRS) – Ensuring reliable voice data storage and retrieval.
- Controller Working Positions (CWP) – Providing an intuitive and user-friendly interface for air traffic controllers.
The systems fully comply with international standards and the specific requirements of the Colombian authorities, ensuring efficient and secure air traffic management.
