Air Tech Italy member, FibreFENCE Fencing Systems recently won a fencing project with one of Asia’s leading airports, Hong Kong International Airport.

Due to the significant growth in the number of passengers, cargo traffic and aircraft movements which the airport has known over the past decade, the Chek Lap Kok International Airport (HKIA) created its Master Plan 2030, which outlines the future development plans of the area to cope with the growing demand.

As part of that expansion plan FibreFENCE has provided over 6,0km of FibreFENCE fencing which has been used for the construction of a radio transparent fence to separate the existing airport area from the new one.

The installation was done fast and easy as the fencing is extremely lightweight and the installation doesn’t require any special lifting devices or cranes on site.
