Avinor AS is a state-owned limited company that operates most of the civil airports in Norway. It recently ordered the Aviogei Airport Equipment Thunderlift 4000E for use at Bergen Airport in Norway. The customer selected Aviogei because of its reliability and the great customer care they have received since the first collaboration. Bergen Airport is the second airport in Norway, located on the South West coast of the country.

The THUNDERLIFT family has been designed for the boarding / off boarding of reduced mobility passengers or injured persons on a stretcher and, this for all aircraft with a height of the access to the threshold between the ground and the plane of 4m.

The electrical Thunderlift offers maximum comfort to passengers and is very simple for the driver to maneuver.  The vehicle can easily work in very severe climate conditions. Besides Bergen Airport, the Thunderlift has been in use at several other Avinor airports with the first deployment in 2017.
