The Softech environmental monitoring system has been chosen by UrbanV to evaluate the effective sustainability of flying taxis inside vertiports or aerodromes equipped for the take-off and landing of eVTOLs (electric vertical take-off and landing).

Electric vehicles do not emit polluting substances and are designed to also reduce noise emissions to a minimum. Softech will design and implement a performant system, adapted to the new needs of e-mobility.

The signing of the memorandum of understanding between UrbanV and Softech is aimed at carrying out preliminary studies, acoustic measurements and the supply of Softech’s SARA system; the latter will be integrated into the IT platform developed by UrbanV for the management of vertiports.

Softech’s thirty years of experience in the field of airport environmental monitoring will allow it to design and implement a high-performance system, adapted to the new needs of a mobility that was not there before; a real challenge for Softech as well, who declared to be proud to be able to participate in a project of this magnitude.
